We help students improve their time management, organisational skills, working memory and other executive function skills, through identifying various obstacles to academic success:
• Lack of learning skills, which results in underperformance e.g. student studies hard but obtains disappointing results.
• Feelings of being overwhelmed by workload e.g. student struggles to manage time effectively.
• Feeling stressed and frustrated e.g. school refusal, low attendance, mood swings.
• Lacking confidence in academic ability e.g. low aspirations in academic subjects

With younger students, our learning strategies will help make their transition to secondary school easier. For the older students approaching their GCSE courses, or GCSE exam preparation, our guidance on applying smart ways of working, will help them achieve their best results.

Quillan Education will support students of all abilities to develop their academic skills whilst also allowing them to evolve their practical and organisational approach to learning. This approach will foster independence, increased confidence and enjoyment of their studies, and as a result, will help them achieve everything they are capable of.

Quillan Education specialises in online support for parents and students who have chosen the option of homeschooling, which has its own specific challenges such as
• Absence of curriculum structure
• Decreased focus on learning and concentration, reduced outcomes
• Slower pace of learning
• Lack of social interaction and increased sense of isolation, often stunting communication and exposure to different perspectives.
